Also know as KCl or Muriate of Potash MOP
Potassium Chloride is a cost-effective source of Potassium for pasture and crops that are tolerant to having a high salt index product applied.
Potassium Chloride is used for maintenance, or to ensure that Potassium is not deficient in pasture and crops. Potassium Chloride is your lowest cost source of Potassium.
Caution must be taken around low Salt sensitive crops.
Caution should be taken, when applying Potassium in late Autumn and/or early Spring, where lactating animals are grazing. This is because the Potassium uptake will lower the Magnesium uptake and may result in increased metabolic issues.
Potassium Chloride can be mixed with most fertilisers but it is important to note that the bulk density is a key component to achieving accurate spreading.
